What is the use of Monokrome Creative Studio?

Our studio is primarily used for photography and videography, but can also be used as a workspace, art and dance studio, host small meetings or events, and other creative uses.

How do I book a session?

We welcome you to book here. For any questions, please feel free to contact us

Is equipment included?

We do have some photography equipment available to use including paper seamless backdrops and lights. You may inquire with us for further details on these.  

What amenities does the studio include?

The studio is equipped with a beauty station, washroom, prop furniture, folding chairs, a fridge, garment rack and a wall mural that will change seasonally.

What is the size of the studio?

The studio is approximately 500 sqft. If you would like to request a viewing prior to booking, please contact us. Our suggested capacity is 25 people.

How do I gain access to the studio?

Upon booking your time slot, you will receive a confirmation email shortly thereafter. On the day of your studio time, you will receive an email prior with instructions and access code to the studio.

Is there a cleaning fee?

We do not charge a cleaning fee, however, we do ask our guests to leave the space the same way that they came into it, and clean up after your crew as best as possible. In the event that a large mess or damage is left, a $50 cleaning fee will be charged to your account.

Is there an elevator? 

Unfortunately there is no elevator in the building. We are located on the second floor, just a few steps away from the stairwell. 

How do I gain access to the studio?

Upon booking your time slot, you will receive a confirmation email shortly thereafter. On the day of your studio time, you will receive an email prior with instructions and a pin code to access the studio door.

Is there parking? 

Yes! There is a free parking lot on-site at the front of the building, facing Industrial Street. The main entrance door is located at the southeast corner of the building.  

What are the hours of operation?

Studio bookings are available on our website from 6am until midnight. For any bookings outside of these hours, please contact us.

Does the studio have a sound system?

We do provide a wireless speaker in the studio which can connect to your devices via Bluetooth. 

What is your refund policy?

If you wish to cancel or reschedule your booking, we give the following allowances based on how much advanced notice is given:

30 days notice or more: you may cancel or reschedule without penalty.

5 to 30 days notice: you are allowed a one-time rescheduling within 30 calendar days or may request a refund of 50%.

48 hours to 5 days notice: you may reschedule with no penalty, as long as you reschedule within 10 calendar days.

48 hours or less: you may reschedule within 5 calendar days, with a $25 fee. 

No shows may not be rescheduled.
